What we collect

We use Google Analytics (via Google's gtag.js) to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location (city/country level, derived from IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect names, email addresses or payment details directly ourselves.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors. For visitors we detect as likely being in the European Union, we ask for consent before any analytics cookies are set, via the banner shown on your first visit — see "Cookie consent" below. You can decline, and can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for totallyvienna.com and revisiting.

We only show a cookie consent banner to visitors we detect as likely being in the European Union, based on your browser's timezone setting — an approximate, privacy-friendly method that doesn't involve looking up your actual location.
